What's new

Classes

• NewA new Classes tab for planning and logging classes. Pick a start date, an end date, and the days it meets, and every class date is laid out for you.
• NewGive each lesson a title, summary, teaching notes, and attach materials: Dropbox files or folders, Google Drive links, or any web link.
• NewSync a class to the Desk Calendar. Choose a calendar slot for each day the class meets, and the class shows there for every date, in its own color. Anything you type in a calendar cell takes priority, and you can choose to show “no class” weeks too.
• NewCopy class schedules as a table to paste into a document, spreadsheet, or presentation.
• NOTEClasses is turned off in the navigation for some existing accounts. Turn it on under Settings → Visible Tabs.

Preaching Log

• ImprovedA log entry’s duration can now have up to two decimal places, like 33.25 minutes.

Sermons

• ImprovedA sermon’s # can now have up to two decimal places, like 12.5.
• FixedChoosing a file from Dropbox now works on iPhones and iPads.

Account

• NewChange your sign-in email in Settings → Account → Change email. You’ll enter your password, then confirm with a link sent to your new address.
• NewFeedback form is available on any page, can be minimized, and will follow you from page to page so you can better describe bugs and needed improvements.

Sermons

• ImprovedThe log entries at the bottom of a sermon’s page now show the A/V link beside the duration, when there is one.
• ImprovedLinking to Dropbox now allows folders, not just individual files.

Tablet Optimization

• NewOn tablets, toggle between Sheet view (standard desktop view) and Card view (standard mobile view). Selection is remembered per device.
• FixedNavigation Bar optimized for tablet experience, removing overlapping buttons.
• FixedActions which were previously hover-only now also work on tap in tablet and mobile views.

Maps beyond the U.S.

• NewThe Preaching Locations map on the Summary page now works worldwide. Pick North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, or Australia / Oceania from the new menu beside the date range. It only lists the areas where you have logged places, and shows up once you have more than one. If you have places inside and outside the U.S., a United States option gives you the original U.S. map with state lines.
• NewEach continent is drawn flat, showing only that continent (intercontinental countries show up on multiple continent maps).
• ImprovedAfter you press Locate, you now see the place each location was matched to (like “Paris → Paris, Texas, United States”), so you can catch a wrong entry. When a name is ambiguous, the U.S. match is generally selected; add the state or country, like “Paris, France”, to avoid the app mislabeling.
• ImprovedScroll to zoom on the map, and dots and borders stay crisp at any zoom level.

Feedback with screenshots

• NewYou can attach up to two screenshots when you send feedback. They are shrunk automatically.

Faster tables

• NewSearch one column at a time: Type # in a table’s search box and pick a column, like #Location Davenport.
• NewAdd a sermon or a log entry right from its table with the blue Add button. Tab moves between cells and Enter adds it (on a computer).
• ImprovedEditing in a table: Tab and Shift+Tab move between cells, dates can be typed (10/6/2026), a sermon’s rating can be changed by clicking the stars, and Tone and Category can be picked from the keyboard.
• ImprovedA new sermon needs a Title or a number, preventing stray empty rows cluttering your database.
• FixedIn dark mode, table text no longer shows through the pinned columns when you scroll sideways.

Calendar and Travel touch-ups

• NewThis "What’s new" page. A small dot on your account menu shows when there is something you haven’t seen.
• NewCalendar: while you are editing a slot, ⌘/Ctrl+click another slot to select both. The colors in the menu now are labeled.
• ImprovedCalendar tags are easier to read while editing, Tab picks a tag as soon as you have typed its whole name, and pressing Delete twice removes a tag.
• ImprovedTravel remembers which years you have folded away, and on a phone the calendar view no longer shows quarter headings.
• FixedThe gap between “Delete” and “Selected” on the delete button.

Private beta opens

• NewPreacher’s Desk opens in private beta: Sermons, preaching log, calendar, travel plans, and a summary.
• NewAsk for an invitation at preachersdesk.com. It works in a phone’s browser too, and can be added to the home screen.
